Embrace the New Year: 2015

2015

Today is the day of remembrance.  A day of reminiscing on the year of 2014’s events.
What have you accomplished?  Have you done something amazing?  Doing something amazing doesn’t have to be anything big, just something small that leads to a great satisfaction.

Today is the day where all things change.
It’s Okay!  Life Happens, Dreams Change!

The road is not straight.  There will be bumps.  There will be roller coasters.  But there’s always a smooth ride along the journey.  One where you can stop and breathe in the perfection of the present.  Living in the moment is to cherish all the good that has landed into your hands.

The key is to remember the moments shared with one another.  Moments of loss. Moments of disagreement.  Moments of forgiveness.  Moments of love.  Moments of happiness.  These are moments, we must treasure– no matter how difficult and heart-breaking those moments were.  In the end, these are the memories that make up who we have become.  What’s done is done.  The past you cannot change.  The importance is how will you proceed?  Don’t forget those moments in time made us stronger!

A lot has happened in the year 2014.  A lot has changed since the beginning.  It’s that time of year again to look back at the struggles, the pain, and the heartache.  Without some losses, we wouldn’t have some wins in between.  Remember the togetherness, the laughs, the jokes, the unconditional love, the achievements, the shared secrets, and most importantly the beautiful moments along the journey.

This is a new year.  How do you proceed?

Don’t be frightened of last year’s events.  Embrace the change.  Live in the moment.  Enjoy the present.  Welcome the future.

The time is reconciliation.  The time is to reunite.  The time for a new beginning.  What’s your dream this year?  What do you plan to accomplish?

Laugh often.  Love deeply.  Dance crazy.  Dream big.
Life’s too short to be standing on the sidelines.
Take this life and do something amazing with it.
